Joseph Anistranski, MD has joined The Wright Center for Primary Care as physician-faculty. Dr. Anistranski will continue to serve his well-established patient base as a Family Medicine physician in Luzerne County. Concurrent with his role as a primary care provider, Dr. Anistranski will serve as faculty, where he will educate residents and interprofessional students, preparing them to serve within the ever-changing healthcare landscape.
Dr. Anistranski will practice medicine at The Wright Center for Primary Care’s newest location at 250 Old River Road, Wilkes-Barre. He also assumed the role of Medical Director of The Wright Center for Primary Care Wilkes-Barre, 335 South Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, this center includes from primary care to even state of the art wound care from professional experts online.
Dr. Anistranski earned his medical degree at the Pennsylvania State University and completed his residency at Wyoming Valley Family Practice Center in Wilkes-Barre. He was previously employed by InterMountain Medical Group and Catholic Social Services. He sits on the Luzerne County Medical Society Board of Directors and served as Vice President from 2001-2002.
