The Wright Center Patient Engagement Council (PEC) will be hosting a Caring Hearts Panel Discussion and Dinner on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Genetti Manor, 1505 Main Avenue, Dickson City. The event will begin at 4pm with a panel discussion led by Linda Thomas-Hemak, M.D., President and CEO of The Wright Center; Lear Von Koch, M.D.; Dipti Pancholy, M.D.; and Samir Pancholy, M.D. Paola Giangiacomo of WVIA will moderate. The discussion will be followed by a cocktail hour with a cash bar as well as a buffet style dinner and dancing.

The goal of this initiative is to prevent cardiovascular diseases and create a community support network for the patients and families of cardiac conditions. The cost to attend is $20 per person. To RSVP, call Colleen at 570.591.5180.

As an integral component of The Wright Center’s patient engagement initiative, the PEC was founded in March of 2016 to support the partnership between patients and their healthcare providers. The PEC is focused on patient education and patient advocacy and was founded on the belief that patients are the number one stakeholders in their healthcare.

The PEC also engages patient volunteers who serve as links not only to current Wright Center patients, but also to those outside of the organization who may be searching for a primary care provider and other healthcare services.

(L-R): Lear Von Koch, M.D.; Linda Thomas-Hemak, M.D., President and CEO of The Wright Center; Jack Walsh, Master of Ceremonies; Dipti Pancholy, M.D. and Samir Pancholy, M.D.
