The goal of the Visiting Professor Series is to educate residents, medical staff and faculty on a variety of issues, including tactics for improved self-awareness, community-specific health needs assessments, motivational interviewing and poverty simulation to develop awareness and sensitivity to real issues patients face today. All sessions are open to medical professionals in the community and will be held at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education, Scranton. RSVPs are required; there is no cost to attend.
