About

Jacob Miller, M.D., is a 2022 alumnus of The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education and a teaching hospitalist at the Wilkes-Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He initially joined The Wright Center for Patient & Community Engagement while completing his internal medicine residency, serving as chief resident liaison.

Originally hailing from Tucson, Arizona, he completed his undergraduate work in microbiology and graduate work in biomedical sciences and epidemiology at the University of Arizona. He earned his M.D. at St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada.

Dr. Miller has served on the executive boards of multiple professional and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Dedicated to providing education and improving access to health care, he has spent time working in Guatemala, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Haiti. He works to bring the lessons learned through these travels to improve access to health care for residents of Northeast Pennsylvania.
