About

Since 2006, Melissa Bender Simrell has worked as a financial adviser with the Bender Wealth Management Group at Merrill Lynch, using an individualized approach to goals-based wealth management and handling the team’s business management. Her acute business acumen makes her an integral member of The Wright Center for Community Health Board of Directors.

As a retirement benefits consultant, she executes strategic retirement plan consulting services for new and existing clients. A graduate of Scranton Preparatory School, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton, completed a professional study regimen though Boston University, and holds the certified financial planner certification, as well as designations as a chartered retirement planning counselor and certified plan fiduciary advisor.
