Patrick D. Conaboy, M.D.
Patrick D. Conaboy, M.D., is the Chief Medical Officer for both Commonwealth Health Regional Hospital of Scranton and Moses Taylor Hospital. He previously held the roles of Market CMIO and Staff President, and serves as a member of The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education Board of Directors.
An Archbald resident, Dr. Conaboy is a graduate of Scranton Preparatory School, the University of Scranton and Georgetown University School of Medicine. After a decade of service in the U.S. Army, Dr. Conaboy returned to Scranton and opened a family practice office which would become Cognetti and Conaboy Family Practice. He has held numerous offices on the medical staff at the former Mercy Hospital (now Commonwealth Health Regional Hospital of Scranton), and has been active at each of Scranton’s three hospitals.
Dr. Conaboy was a founding faculty member of the Physician Assist program at Marywood University and has lectured at The Commonwealth Medical College. He has been a medical director at multiple skilled nursing facilities and Mercy Hospice.
