Alyssa Kasheta, CRNP, is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner at The Wright Center for Community Health- Hawley practice. In this role, she will be seeing patients across the lifespan for health and wellness needs, in addition to treating acute illnesses and chronic conditions. She is really looking forward to serving Hawley and its surrounding communities. For Alyssa, the most rewarding part of the job is “seeing the positive impact that genuine care can have on the most vulnerable of populations.”
Alyssa grew up in Mayfield, PA and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Misericordia University. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in Allentown and Scranton, with a background in medical and surgical intensive care units. Alyssa then pursued her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Misericordia University. She belongs to the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and has been awarded the Excellence in Evidence-Based Practice Award for her research on collaborative care for the treatment of substance use disorders from Misericordia University. She has also worked as an adjunct instructor for Misericordia University,teaching undergraduate nursing lab courses to future RNs.
Alyssa, her husband, and their two children live in Jermyn. Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family,being outdoors, and traveling.
