Bojana Milekic, MD, is a faculty member within The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education Internal Medicine Residency. She practices internal medicine at Regional Hospital and the Scranton Counseling Center.
Dr. Milekic has practiced internal medicine at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education since 2015. Her research interests include psychiatry, cardiology and neurology. She has co-authored five presentations and received the award for Best Student Research Paper in Psychiatry from the 50th Students’ Conference of Medical Science of Serbia in 2009.
Dr. Milekic studied natural sciences at Valjevska Gimnazija Valjevo in her native Serbia. In 2003, she began medical school at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, and completed practical exchanges to study cardiology in Brazil and neurology in Austria. She traveled to New York to complete residency training with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
In her free time, Dr. Milekic enjoys swimming, rock climbing, cycling and playing the violin. She is fluent in German and Serbian and speaks basic Spanish and Portuguese.
