Born and raised in South Abington Township, Bridget became passionate about social work through listening to stories told by her grandfather, a social worker who helped families and children for many years. After graduating from Abington Heights High School, she received her associate in general studies from Luzerne County Community College in 2011 and her bachelor of social work from Misericordia University in 2013. She received her Master of Social Work from Marywood University in 2018.
Bridget currently lives in Clarks Green. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and also works on-call for the Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA as a family advocate and forensic interviewer. In her free time, she enjoys reading, experimenting with cooking and hiking when the weather is nice.
