Darlene Lawrence, MD, FAAFP, is the practice management curriculum coordinator, the coordinator of advising and the site lead for the Parkside Health Center Resident/Faculty Practice. Committed to serving D.C.’s underserved population, she has worked in a multi-specialty group, a private practice and as faculty in a university department of faculty medicine.

Dr. Lawrence is a Secretary of Health and Human Services Fellow, as well as a Harvard School of Public Health Community Health Center Fellow. Through the years, she has participated in the ongoing chain of medical education by working as Assistant Clinical Professor at all three D.C. colleges and universities of medicine. At Unity Health Care, she practices full-service family medicine including inpatient medicine, obstetrics, office procedures and behavioral health.
