Dr. Sengchannavong was drawn to family medicine because of the continuity of care it provides. “My grandmother is my inspiration and partner in my journey to medicine,” she says. She chose The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education because of her familiarity with the setting and passion for outpatient family medicine. “The most memorable parts of my residency are seeing the patient-doctor relationship in action,” she says. “As a physician, I’d rather be seen as a partner than an authority.”
Dr. Sengchannavong was born in San Jose, CA and attended medical school at the A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine.
