Joseph Ercolani, DDS

After serving patients in his private practice for 39 years, Joseph Ercolani, DDS joined The Wright Center for Community Health Mid Valley full-time in September 2019. He was drawn to the organization because of its mission of serving the underserved. “For me, it’s most rewarding to be able to alleviate patients from pain and help them feel better about themselves,” he says. Dr. Ercolani advises people who are fearful of dentistry to give an appointment a try – the experience might help to erase their concerns. “In most cases, we’re able to provide care in a completely pain-free environment,” he says. “Coming in and getting that pain-free experience is important.” His most important oral health tip is to maintain a balanced diet and good oral hygiene.

Dr. Ercolani received his bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College and his master’s degree in biochemistry from The University of Scranton before attending the Temple University School of Dentistry. He is originally from the Peckville area, and he has lived in Blakely with his wife and three children for over 30 years. He is involved in several local organizations, including the Blakely Borough Council and Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, and enjoys golf and racquetball. Something people might not know about Dr. Ercolani? “I’ve played guitar for many years,” he says.
