Family Medicine Resident
Sun-jae Kim, DO is a resident within The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education’s National Family Medicine Residency. He trains at Unity Health Care in Washington, D.C. Dr. Kim says he chose the program because of his passion for the underserved population being served. “My past history is similar to that of some of their patients, and this resounded with me,” he says. “The program has a really good mission and I want to be a part of it.” He is considering specializing in geriatrics following the completion of his residency.
Dr. Kim was born in Seoul, Korea and attended medical school at the Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. In his free time, he enjoys watching shows on Netflix and YouTube—especially nature documentaries—and playing video games.
