Lead Case Manager COE
Edward Walsh is the lead case manager at The Wright Center for Community Health within the Center of Excellence program. In this role, Ed serves as a resource for patients during their most challenging and inspiring moments as they work through the program. Ed is Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) certified and can assist individuals struggling with substance use disorder. “When people leave the program, it’s like closing a bad chapter in life and moving into a whole new chapter where they ultimately see the joy of living,” he says. “It’s nice to see someone who was once so disconnected from their family make the reconnection.”
Ed is a graduate of The University of Scranton and Marywood University and joins The Wright Center from Little Creek Outpatient Services in Hamlin, where he previously served as the Clinical Director. He has extensive experience in the clinical environment, having served as a clinical supervisor and director for nearly 20 years. Ed has been recognized for his contributions to his community as a recipient of the UNICO Outstanding Citizen Award.
