Jacob Parrick, MD

Jacob Parrick, MD trains within The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education’s Psychiatry Residency. Dr. Parrick says he chose medicine because he enjoys interacting with people and wanted to give back to his community. “Psychiatry enables to form lasting, deep relationships with patients,” he says.

Dr. Parrick was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA and attended Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. “I saw a lot of parallels between GCSOM and The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education, and that was a big reason I chose this program for residency,” he says. “GCSOM has put me in a good position to give back to the community, and my residency will do the same thing.” In his free time, Dr. Parrick enjoys building fine furniture.
