Meet Jeff

As president and CEO of Metz Culinary Management, Jeff Metz oversees more than 250 contract management accounts in 21 states, including the Metz Environmental Services division. In addition, Metz leads the company’s restaurant division, consisting of 11 T.G.I. Friday’s in Pennsylvania and New Jersey; Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Wolfgang Puck Express and Elixir Bistro Bar at Mohegan Sun Pocono; and Lucky’s Sporthouse. In 2011 and again in 2016, Metz was awarded the T.G.I. Friday’s Franchisee of the Year award. Jeff was named a winner of the 2017 IFMA Silver Plate Award for excellence in business and industry food service management.

Jeff is a member of several boards at The Wright Center for Community Health and its affiliated entity, The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education, and volunteers his time with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, the United Way and the Commission on Economic Opportunity. While serving as a member of the board of directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Jeff was awarded its highest honor, The Golden Wishbone Award and the Make-A-Wish Star Wand, placing him in the organization’s distinguished Chris Greicius Society of Joy. He is a past board chair of the Pennsylvania Restaurant Association and served as chairman of its Political Action Committee and Political Education Committee.
Jeff is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization and the Penn State School of Hospitality Management Industry Advisory Board. He and his wife, Susan, have three children: Kaitlyn, Ashley and Jeffrey.
