Michael Kondash, DO, is the regional network director of medical education. In this role, he oversees The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Programs in northeast Pennsylvania.
Dr. Kondash has been in practice for 32 years. Dedicated to serving the whole family, he is board certified in family medicine and with additional certification in geriatrics general practice by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine Physicians. He practices at PrimeMed Medical Group in Clarks Summit. Additionally, he is affiliated with several area hospitals and care centers, including Geisinger CMC, Mountainview Care Center, St. Mary’s Villa, Moses Taylor Hospital and Allied Integrated Health Systems.
Dr. Kondash earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Elizabethtown College and his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, he finished a rotational internship at York Memorial Hospital. He has been a fellow of the American College of Physicians for 12 years. He sits on the board of directors of PrimeMed P.C. and Geisinger CMC. Dr. Kondash is also a health coach and runs a program called “A Systematic Approach to Weight Loss and Optimal Health.”
An active member of the community, Dr. Kondash belongs to St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters.
