Dr. Chandragiri trains residents in both hospital and community health-based settings, including Scranton Counselling Center, Geisinger Community Medical Center and The Wright Center for Community Health. Dr. Chandragiri is certified in psychiatry with additional certification in psychosomatic medicine and addiction medicine. Dr. Chandragiri completed medical school and psychiatry residency at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University and continued a second psychiatry residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1998. He began practicing in Carbondale, Pennsylvania and has stayed in Northeastern Pennsylvania ever since. He and his wife, Suparna, reside in Clarks Summit. He has two sons, one who is enrolled in medical school and one in a pre-med program.
