As a children’s specialist and mental health program representative, Tammy Saunders shares her expertise in behavioral health services with the board. She has worked in the field for over 30 years, advocating for the rights of adults, children and families to receive appropriate services delivered in a recovery-oriented, strengths-based manner.
Tammy graduated from King’s College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology. She is also active on the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and the Jewish Community Center of Scranton’s Camp Committee. Tammy lives in Scranton with her son and daughter, and she is active in their school communities.
