Dr. Aloysius Mark Madhok, MD, PhD serves as faculty within the Internal Medicine Residency. In this role, he is responsible for the teaching, research and supervision of resident physicians within The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education. Dr. Madhok is also a member of a group of volunteer physicians and residents who serve at the Care and Concern Free Clinic at St. John the Evangelist Church in Pittston, providing free medical care to low-income residents who lack health insurance on the second Wednesday of each month.
Before joining The Wright Center, Dr. Madhok was chief resident at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He attended the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, and St. John’s Medical College, India. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Medical Association, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease.
Dr. Madhok lives in Clarks Summit with his wife, Irena, and their two children.
