Timothy Kelly Burke, DO, is the director of the osteopathic internal medicine residency program. He is an alumnus of Valley View High School and Marywood University and resides in Archbald, Pennsylvania, where he was born and raised.
Dr. Burke is focused on helping his patients make their health a priority and encouraging active participation in their wellness. He has co-authored publications in several areas, most recently focused on the determinants of appropriate lipid management in patients at an outpatient clinical setting in “The Journal of the American Society of Hypertension,” in April 2016. Additionally, he is an active member of The Wright Center Medical Group, P.C. Board of Directors, serving as treasurer since 2014. He also works as clinical assistant professor of medicine at The Commonwealth Medical College and a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists.
Dr. Timothy Burke majored in pre-med at Pennsylvania State University in 1994. Upon graduation, he attended Marywood University, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in mathematics and secondary education in 1997. He returned to medicine in 2006 when he began medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency with The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education and was selected as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Burke previously held the faculty role of associate program director and currently practices as a physician at The Wright Center for Community Health Mid Valley Practice.
Dr. Burke and his wife, Denise, reside in Archbald. They are the proud parents of four children and grandparents of three.
