Dr. Hemant Goyal (Chief)
AboutDr. Hemant Goyal was born in India and graduated from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency from Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he later served as PGY-4 Chief Resident. Dr. Goyal joined the core faculty of Internal Medicine as an Assistant Professor at Mercer University, Macon, Georgia. He also served as Assistant Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency program at the Medical Center, Navicent Health. Dr. Goyal is board-certified by American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). He joined the Wright Center for his fellowship because of its vision and mission of best patient care and quality of training. Dr. Goyal will be joining the McGovern Medical School at the UTHealth, Houston, as an Advanced Endoscopy Fellow in July 2022.
