The Wright Center for Primary Care Set to Collaborate with Area School Districts to Help Students Meet Vaccine Requirements
The Wright Center for Primary Care will collaborate with area school districts to help students meet vaccine requirements for attendance in Pennsylvania schools. Students who do not receive the required vaccinations within the first five days of the new school year will risk exclusion. All required immunizations will be offered to students grades K-12.
The Wright Center and the Scranton School District’s Together in Health clinic is the sole provider of school-based health services in northeast Pennsylvania. Last summer alone, The Wright Center provided more than 1,000 vaccines to students in the Scranton School District. By expanding the vaccination program to districts throughout the region, The Wright Center will help students keep up to date on vaccines so they can remain healthy and in classrooms.
Vaccine clinics are scheduled for the following school districts:
Pocono Mountain East High School, 231 Pocono Mountain School Road, Swiftwater: Wednesday, July 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please use the main entrance.
