Himani Mongia, M.D., is a third-year Internal Medicine Resident Program resident physician at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education, where she serves as president of the House Staff Council and chief resident for advocacy. She also served as Resident Leader during her second year of residency.

Prior to beginning her residency, Dr. Mongia worked in the humanitarian sector with Doctors Without Borders in India, where she served in multiple leadership roles focused on improving healthcare delivery in underserved communities. She also served on the Board of Directors for Doctors Without Borders South Asia, contributing to the organization’s strategic direction and governance. She is passionate about community service, physician advocacy, and expanding access to high-quality healthcare.
