In Northeast Pennsylvania, our residents and fellows train and take care of patients in The Wright Center for Community Health’s primary care community health centers and school-based health centers, which are all designated Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alikes. The Wright Center for Community Health’s network of community health clinics in Lackawanna, Luzerne, and Wayne counties primarily serves patients from Lackawanna, Luzerne, Susquehanna, Wayne, and Wyoming counties. The medical services our physician learners provide empower underserved regions with high-quality, medical care regardless of a patient’s insurance status or ability to pay.
Northeast Pennsylvania training sites include regional and national hospital systems, as well as the federal Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
All of our clinical learning environments provide hands-on experience with medically underserved populations, including those experiencing food and housing insecurity.

The Wright Center’s innovative learning environments throughout Northeast Pennsylvania provide a range of clinical experiences for physician learners in the community locations that need them most.
