Himani Mongia, M.D., is a third-year Internal Medicine resident at The Wright Center. Throughout her residency, she has held numerous leadership positions, reflecting the confidence and trust placed in her by both faculty and her fellow residents. She currently serves as president of the House Staff Council and as chief resident for advocacy, having previously served as resident leader during her second year of residency.

Before residency, Dr. Mongia worked in the humanitarian sector with Doctors Without Borders in India, where she served in multiple leadership roles focused on improving healthcare delivery in underserved communities. She also served on the Board of Directors for Doctors Without Borders South Asia, contributing to the organization’s strategic direction and governance. She remains passionate about community service, physician advocacy, and expanding access to high-quality healthcare.
