Jill Durkin, Esq., of Factoryville, Pennsylvania, is an attorney with a longstanding career in civil law who has represented clients in a variety of business law, litigation, bankruptcy, real estate, zoning, municipal, and elder law matters. She has served as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee for the United States Trustee Program since 2022. She became a certified mediator for the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Middle District of Pennsylvania in 2025 and has served as a court-appointed arbitrator for Lackawanna County. She has been an auditor for Benton Township since 2020.  

The graduate of the Widener University Commonwealth Law School and the Pennsylvania State University is active in the community, serving as the former president and secretary and current board member of Meals on Wheels NEPA; a member of the Widener University Commonwealth Law School Advisory Board; a former president, secretary, and board member of Griffin Pond Animal Shelter. She is also a current member and former board member of the Lackawanna County Bar Association and a board member and former president of the Middle District Bankruptcy Bar Association. Durkin and her husband, James, live in Benton Township.
