All residency and fellowship applications are accepted only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS®). The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education participates in ERAS Program Signaling for all residency and fellowship specialties in which signaling is offered. Applicants are encouraged to review the specialty-specific guidance before applying.

All of our ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP®).

As a Teaching Health Center, The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education is committed to training physicians who provide compassionate, patient-centered care and improving the health of medically underserved communities. We encourage applicants to review The Wright Center’s mission, and program descriptions to determine whether their experiences, interests, and career goals align with our programs.

Applications are reviewed using a holistic review process guided by our Application Selection Guidelines and Program Metrics. In addition to meeting program eligibility requirements, applicants are evaluated using specialty-specific selection criteria that may include academic achievement, clinical performance, professionalism, leadership, service, research, life experiences, and alignment with our mission and values.

For specialties participating in ERAS Program Signaling, signals are considered as one component of the holistic review process and may help demonstrate an applicant’s interest in a program. Program signals do not guarantee an interview invitation or affect an applicant’s eligibility for consideration. Applicants who do not signal a participating program may still be considered based on the overall strength of their application and alignment with program-specific selection criteria.

The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education accepts applications from U.S. citizens, individuals with permanent resident status, and individuals requiring J-1 visa sponsorship.

For international medical graduates, a valid ECFMG certificate is required. U.S. clinical experience is strongly preferred. U.S. clinical experience is defined as hands-on experience working directly with patients in a U.S. medical environment. Applicants should refer to the Application Selection Guidelines and Program Metrics for individual program requirements.

ستُجرى المقابلات افتراضيًا لجميع برامج الإقامة والزمالة من خلال Thalamus (https://thalamusgme.com/) أو Webex، حسب البرنامج.

يتألف اليوم النموذجي للمقابلة الشخصية من مقابلتين (2)، يمكن أن تستغرق ما يقرب من ساعة واحدة (1):

مدير البرنامج (20-30 دقيقة): مقابلة 1:1
مقابلة جماعية (20-30 دقيقة): تتكون هذه المقابلة من ممثل من أعضاء هيئة التدريس من الأطباء، وطبيب مقيم، ومنسق البرنامج.

قد تقوم بعض البرامج بإجراء أكثر من مقابلتين أو لجنة واحدة.

إذا تم اختيارك لإجراء مقابلة، ستتلقى دعوة من برنامج Thalamus (إن أمكن). ستقدم معظم البرامج جلسات صباحية وبعد الظهر لاستيعاب واحترام جميع المناطق الزمنية.
