Michael P. Curran, MHA

Michael P. Curran is the system vice president – service line integration and development with Guthrie Medical Group.

Curran brings more than 20 years of experience as a hospital and health care system executive to The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education Board of Directors. He most recently served as chief executive officer for Moses Taylor Hospital and Regional Hospital of Scranton, which are part of the Commonwealth Health Network. 

Curran previously served as vice president of operations for the East Region of Prospect Medical Holdings, where he was responsible for the operations of nine acute care facilities and led the development of strategies to address workforce shortages. He also held executive positions at Crozer Health, including system chief operating officer, president, and chief integration officer. 

Curran a développé et géré la stratégie et les opérations pour un certain nombre de lignes de services cliniques, y compris les services cardiovasculaires complets, le remplacement orthopédique des articulations et l'imagerie médicale interventionnelle et diagnostique. À Crozer Health, il a été le principal dirigeant du système dans le développement d'un programme novateur de neurosciences, apportant pour la première fois dans le comté de Delaware des interventions complètes en matière d'accidents vasculaires cérébraux et de chirurgie cérébrale. Il a travaillé avec succès avec les assemblées législatives de plusieurs États pour garantir un remboursement équitable et rapide. 

Mme Curran est titulaire d'une licence en biologie du Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute de Troy (New York) et d'un master en administration de la santé de l'université Cornell d'Ithaca (New York).
