Council on Graduate Medical Education

The Council on Graduate Medical Education (COGME) provides an ongoing assessment of physician workforce trends, training issues, and financing policies and recommends appropriate federal and private sector efforts on these issues.

The Wright Centers for Community Health and Graduate Medical Education President and CEO Dr. Linda Thomas-Hemak serves as a member of COGME. 

Earlier this year, COGME wrote to U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra, members of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, and members of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce regarding:
