Meet The Wright Center’s Director of Health Humanities

To prioritize the wellness of its residents and fellows, The Wright Center in 2021 created a post called director of health humanities. This director promotes emotional wellness by engaging the organizations’ physician trainees, employees and others in artistic activities. Those activities, which include painting, writing and other creative outlets, are designed to support professional identity development and growth by providing opportunities for shared experiences, awareness, reflection and expression.

Research & Scholarly Work

A core belief at The Wright Center is that it takes far more than medical knowledge to create the next generation of physician leaders. Our research curriculum has applications in all ACGME and AOA areas of competence.
