The Wright Center for Community Health Scranton will host a free Caregivers Resource Fair on Thursday, April 16, offering family members and caregivers of individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia a supportive, welcoming space to connect with local resources and learn practical skills. The event will also feature a live cooking demonstration presented by Marywood University’s nutrition and dietetics program.

Katie Tullio, M.S., RDN, LDN, a registered dietitian and an assistant professor at Marywood University, along with several members of the university’s Student Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, will lead the cooking demonstration and share guidance on nutrition for older adults.

The fair will also include community partners – including Lackawanna County Area on Aging, Telespond Senior Services, Meals on Wheels, and more – who will provide information about local programs and services available to support caregivers and older adults.
