Kenneth Okrepkie
About
Kenneth G. Okrepkie, MHR, is the regional manager for Ben Franklin Technology Partners of
Northeastern Pennsylvania, where he oversees investments in a portfolio of more than 40
companies in the region. His clients have leveraged his funding to raise more than $60 million
over the last three years.
For more than 20 years, the Scott Township resident has supported early-stage technology
companies and connected manufacturing firms to college and university resources. His career,
which blends a variety of experiences from higher education to entrepreneurship, is focused on
making Northeast Pennsylvania a better place for the next generation to live, work, and play.
In the community, Okrepkie has served as the chairperson of the Scranton-Lackawanna
Industrial Building Company, Great Valley Technology Alliance, Scranton Tomorrow, and
Scranton Area Community Foundation boards. In addition to serving on all of the region’s
business incubator boards, he is also the treasurer for the Greater Hazleton CAN DO, a private,
nonprofit industrial and economic development corporation serving southern Luzerne County.
A graduate of the University of Scranton, he holds an undergraduate degree in marketing and a
master’s degree in human resources. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of
Scranton’s Kania School of Management, teaching in the entrepreneurship program. He is a
member of the Sigma Nu Tau Entrepreneurship Honor Society.
