Mary B. Klem, M.S., R.D., CSO, LDN

About

For more than 30 years, Mary B. Klem, M.S., R.D., CSO, LDN, has used her expertise as a registered dietitian to build healthier communities by focusing on disease prevention and nutrition.

A Scott Township resident, Klem’s career has focused on community nutrition, acute care, and skilled nursing. She works in private practice as a certified specialist in oncology nutrition and as a nutrition consultant at the Northeast Radiation Oncology Center in Dunmore, Pennsylvania; Sparta Cancer Center in Sparta, New Jersey; and Professional Radiation Oncology Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. Klem and her certified therapy dog, Lily, also work in the oncology centers in which she provides services in medical nutrition therapy.

Klem received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in foods and nutrition, with a concentration in clinical nutrition, from Marywood University. She also has given back to
her community and profession as an adjunct faculty member at regional institutions of higher education, where she taught various courses in nutrition.
