About

Pedro L. Anes, M.S., is the owner of Impact Learning LLC, a boutique consulting business, that specializes in people and organizational training and development, grant project outsourcing, and program evaluation. He has worked as an adjunct professor of management, director of workforce education and community outreach, chief talent officer, and a multilingual partnership specialist with the U.S. Census.

His service on the board allows him to better serve those most in need in the region, especially people who speak limited English, individuals with low incomes, and other under-resourced communities.

In the community, he has a distinguished life-long record of public service, particularly in diversity leadership and outreach. Anes serves on the Scranton School District Financial Recovery Committee, Lackawanna County “Kick COVID” Task Force, the United Nations Association National Council, Playball Puerto Rico Executive Committee, Lackawanna Interagency Council, and the Scranton Human Relations Commission.

A Scranton resident and a retired U.S. Army veteran, he holds a Ph.D. (ABD) in human development, a Master of Science degree in administration, and a Bachelor of Science degree in
management. He has more than 30 years of experience developing and executing diversity and inclusion strategies, managing in-house corporate training, culture change, and organizational development programs in nonprofit, corporate, military, and government settings.
