Learn to Eat Healthy on a Budget – Scranton

A six-week course held weekly on May 20, 27, June 3, 10, 17, and 24. Registration required.

The Wright Center for Community Health, in partnership with Penn State Extension, will offer free classes aimed at helping families and individuals who receive food assistance eat healthier while stretching their food budgets.

The series will be taught in English and Spanish and continue at the same time and location every Tuesday through June 24. 

Classes are open to parents or caregivers of children who qualify for free or reduced lunches or WIC, as well as individuals who qualify for SNAP, commonly known as food stamps; food from food pantries; or Pennsylvania farmers market vouchers.
