Learn to Eat Healthy on a Budget – Wilkes-Barre

The last week of a four-week course held on Sept. 3. Registration required.

The Wright Center for Community Health, in partnership with Penn State Extension, will offer free classes aimed at helping families and individuals who receive food assistance eat healthier while stretching their food budgets.

The series will continue at the same time and location every Wednesday through Sept. 3 

Classes are open to parents or caregivers of children who qualify for free or reduced lunches or WIC, as well as individuals who qualify for SNAP, commonly known as food stamps; food from food pantries; or Pennsylvania farmers market vouchers.
