About

Jignesh Y. Sheth, M.D., MPH, FACP, is senior vice president and enterprise chief operations and strategy officer at The Wright Centers for Community Health and Graduate Medical Education. He leads the implementation of the board-approved strategic business plan, drives enterprise-wide sustainability and Profit & Loss outcomes, and cultivates a cohesive, high-performing executive leadership team grounded in the enterprise’s Entrepreneurial Operating System model.

In this role, Dr. Sheth provides leadership and oversight across both clinical operations and strategy. He ensures individual and collective accountability among executive leaders, facilitating the integration of key functions within the Graduate Medical Education Safety-Net Consortium and the Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike enterprise. His work involves resolving cross-functional challenges and enforcing disciplined, outcome-driven management practices through the enterprise.

His responsibilities span oversight of clinical leadership, health information technology systems, facilities, and the design and continuous improvement of the enterprise’s balance scorecard – ensuring its alignment with the strategic plan and future automation goals. Dr. Sheth also chairs the Clinical Learning Environment Review Subcommittee for graduate medical education.

A graduate of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in India, Dr. Sheth earned his master’s degree in public health from Northern Illinois University. He joined The Wright Center in 2009 as a physician-faculty member after graduating from The Wright Center (then the Scranton-Temple Residency Program) for Graduate Medical Education’s Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Board-certified in both internal medicine and addiction medicine, Dr. Sheth sees adult patients at The Wright Center’s Teaching Community Health Center in Jermyn.
