Freedom from Smoking Program – Jermyn

The Wright Center is currently offering the American Lung Association’s eight-week, no-cost Freedom from Smoking Program. The class meets each Wednesday from 5-6 p.m. at The Wright Center for Community Health Mid Valley, 5 S. Washington Ave., Jermyn, through Wednesday, May 28.
Interested participants may join at any time during the eight weeks.
Run by certified facilitators at The Wright Center in collaboration with the Northeast Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center, the program offers free nicotine replacement therapy – like nicotine-replacement patches, gum, or lozenges – along with personalized support, including coping strategies for managing stress and avoiding weight gain while making the lifestyle changes to remain smoke-free permanently.
