Location Description
The Wright Center for Community Health – Wilkes-Barre is a full-service, family-friendly primary and pediatric care office conveniently located a few blocks off Public Square and on a public transportation route. Our doctors, pediatricians, and advanced practitioners provide checkups, physicals, screenings, and treatment of common illnesses and injuries, as well as behavioral health, addiction and recovery services, sports medicine, and hepatitis C/infectious disease services for people of all ages. Whether you need care for a cold, a routine wellness checkup, or help managing a chronic condition, our Wilkes-Barre health center has you and your family covered.
Weapons Policy
To protect the safety of our patients, visitors, colleagues, and communities, The Wright Center prohibits the possession or carrying of weapons at all of its facilities. This prohibition applies to all individuals, including private citizens and staff members with valid carry permits.
Weapons include, but are not limited to, any firearm – such as guns, rifles, pistols, or handguns – designed to discharge bullets, BBs, pellets, shots, or paintballs, regardless of the propellant or chemical agent used. Weapons also include any object intended to cause harm, including knives, explosives, pepper spray, mace, and tasers.
